Bridgette Mabuto
NonProfit Content Specialist
I help nonprofits spread their mission by creating concise, vivid, and engaging content that resonates with their target audience.
My name is Bridgette and I write. However, as I quickly learned my first few years working as a freelance writer, in order for me to be fulfilled at my job, it had to be about more than just writing and making money. So, not only do I write because it’s my passion, I write because it’s the way I serve my community.
I grew up as a Missionary Kid, living in multiple countries in East Africa until I came to the US for college. During this formative time in my life, while my family participated in digging wells, starting clinics, founding orphanages, and helping our community, I learned that the best way to stay happy in day-to-day life is to find a way to serve. Writing for nonprofits and helping them articulate their missions is my small way of helping with their larger methods of service.
I now live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the most beautiful city in the South. Chattanooga is blessed to be packed full of amazing NGOs and nonprofits, many of which I get to work closely with as an Outreach Coordinator at my church. Nothing brings my heart more joy than to see these organizations tell their stories, connect with an audience, and serve in their unique ways.
On a more personal note, I come from a huge family and married into a tiny one, I love coffee and board games, and I would always rather be curled up with a good book. I love to travel and cook. I’m the go-to person for planning dinners and parties and I love riding my bike along the Chattanooga Riverwalk.
